We deliver transport planning solutions from international freight Corridors to urban mobility, including microscopic traffic planning with a special interest in the coordination of traffic lights. Lift gained a large experience in traffic lights planning through a high number of applications in Italy, Europe and South America. Traffic congestion and related phenomena often represent a huge problem in many urban areas.
Dealing with these issues, Lift offers a wide range of services from large scale planning to the definition of very detailed solutions for signalized or un-signalized intersections. Lift offers also training courses for technicians and sells specific software tools.
Thanks to the collaboration with a network of partners or through autonomous work, Lift may cover all the activities required for long-distance and urban traffic planning, from surveys and specific data collection to macrosimulation models, from microsimulation approaches to assessment of possible alternative solutions.

At Lift, we exploit our expertise in transport engineering also to perform traffic impact studies following both infrastructural and organizational interventions, with the aim of ensuring sustainable systems.
Indeed, on one hand, traffic analysis and evaluation have been carried out to assess the impact of the realization of new development activities, such as residential units and/or commercial areas, on the related mobility.
On the other hand, we offer private and public entities consulting services to better manage employees’ systematic trips from home to their workplace, in line with the goal of reducing the environmental footprint.
