Optimizing pedestrian facilities for a more efficient space destination of use
Lift participated to the 2022 ESTECO Users’ Meeting proposing a multi-objective optimization methodology which combines automation and optimization procedures with pedestrian microsimulation, in order to identify a set of infrastructural configurations of pedestrian facilities which concurrently enable to maximize pedestrian flows and to minimize walking space, while guaranteeing appropriate traffic conditions.
